Good morning, Chargers fans!

On Wednesday, Jim Harbaugh met with members of the media to kick off their prep for the week’s road date in Arizona on Monday Night Football. One of the biggest topics discussed was wideout D.J. Chark’s availability this week now that his four-game minimum wait on IR is well past complete. When asked, Harbaugh noted that they were planning to open Chark’s 21-day window on Wednesday but did not specify whether he’d be returning to the field as soon as this week. Chark also wasn’t able to be that specific, either.

Chark told the media that he “ran some good routes” and felt good during practice, but he still has some rust to shake off in regards to technique.

If the 6’4 speedster does return this week, the Chargers might be able to string together two of their best passing weeks together after Herbert went for a season-high 237 yards against the Broncos. If not, I’d expect another run-heavy day against Arizona’s less-than-stellar rushing defense which ranks 27th in the NFL through six weeks.

And now for today’s links.
