Editorial Director
The Bolts used a strong second half to earn a 27-17 win over the Titans on Sunday and move to 6-3.
Here is a game recap from Week 10.
First Quarter
Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Khalil Mack, Bradley Bozeman, Rashawn Slater and Nick Niemann were the Chargers captains. Tennessee won the toss and elected to defer. Herbert and the Bolts offense started at its own 30-yard line. The Bolts used balance (32 rushing yards and 31 passing yards) to get inside the 5 but had to settle for a 20-yard field goal from Cam Dicker. The Titans responded with a scoring drive of their own that ended with a 42-yard touchdown pass. The Chargers went three-and-out on their ensuing possession as the Titans began at their own 16, but Tennessee also went three-and-out on offense. The Bolts trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.

Second Quarter
The Bolts were aided by a pair of Tennessee penalties and drove into the red zone, but the unit stalled again as Dicker hit a 37-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-6. The Titans reached the red zone on their next drive but back-to-back penalties brought up third-and-26 from the 39. Tennessee eventually missed a 49-yard field goal as the Chargers still trailed by a point. The Bolts then hit an explosive play on a flea flicker as Herbert hit Joshua Palmer for a 36-yard gain.

The Bolts punted as Tennessee took over at its own 48 with four seconds left in the half. The Bolts led 13-7 at the half.
Third Quarter
The Titans began with the ball and marched into the red zone but rookie Cam Hart denied a touchdown on a third-down fade route. Tennessee kicked a field goal that cut the Bolts lead to 13-10. Derius Davis then produced an explosive return for the second week in a row with a 56-yard kickoff return. The Bolts started at the Titans 43 and picked up a pair of first downs and faced third-and-8 from the 16. Herbert, who had plenty of time to throw, delivered by hitting Quentin Johnston for a touchdown to give the Bolts a double-digit lead.
