Driver bolts, passenger runs off in Thessalon
A driver bolted from police in Thessalon on May 30,
A vehicle did not stop after a cruiser's emergency lights were activated on Barbara Street, Ontario Provincial Police say.
The automobile was found in a driveway on Government Road. A male passenger had run off and was found near Federation Street.
Ronald Baron, 48, of Thessalon, was charged with obstruct peace officer. He was also wanted on a warrant.
He appeared in bail court and was remanded into custody.
Aldrick Niganabe, 46, of Mississauga First Nation, was charged with dangerous operation and flight from peace officer.
His court date is July 6 in Blind River.
