Genshin Dehya Story Quest Walkthrough

As of Genshin Impact Version 3.5, the valiant Eremite warrior Dehya has her own questline: the Mantichora Chapter, also known as the Lionsblood Quest. To start this Story Quest, you need to spend one Story Key, reach Adventure Rank 40, and complete Archon Quest Chapter III, Act V.

The first objective after starting Dehya's Story Quest is to visit the Grand Bazaar in Sumeru City. After the dialogue scene, travel to Caravan Ribat at the edge of the desert. Once you’ve exhausted the dialogue there, go back east to the trade route location, just north of the Dark Valley Domain.

You need to fight a small group of Eremites in this location. Dehya joins the team as a trial character.

Next, search the Eremites’ goods. The correct item is in the bag on the right. This will complete the first part of Dehya's Story Quest.

Completion rewards:

Go back to Sumeru City and speak to Dunyarzad. Fast travel to the Teleport Waypoint in the southern part of Sumeru City to start the next dialogue scene. After that, stay in the same location and speak to an NPC called Jawad.

Jawad is sitting outside the tavern, a little to the left (see picture above). He's only present at night though, so if you don't see him, set your in-game timer to 19:00 (nighttime lasts until 06:00 in the morning).

Next, find the Dakan Al-Ahmar near the Valley of Dahri, where you'll have to fight a bunch of Eremites. Note that there are two waves, with two slightly more powerful Eremites as part of the second wave. You can use Dehya as a trial character.

Completion rewards:

You need to find the hiding place of Deshret's Relics, north of Khaj-Nisut. If you start from the City of Gold Domain, you can use the wind currents and four-leaf sigils to get there quickly. Once there, enter the Bygone Glories Passed Domain. The recommended Elements are Dendro, Electro, and Pyro.

Inside Bygone Glories Passed, you first need to fight another group of Eremites. Dehya is available as a trial character, and some of the Eremites will be on your side. The fight is followed by a new dialogue scene.

In order to proceed, solve the laser beam puzzle shown in the picture below:

Go through the door behind the puzzle and be ready to fight a Primal Construct. Once the floating mechanical fiend is dealt with, solve the next laser puzzle:

As you follow the path, you’ll come across two Primal Constructs in a small corridor, and three more in the next large room. Defeat them and then solve the third laser beam puzzle:

The next area presents you with a chunky combat challenge. You can expect four waves of five Eremites per wave. After the post-battle cutscene, take the elevator upwards. Don't forget the Precious Chest in front of the elevator.

Wait for the dialogue to end, then follow the path to the east and enter the Records Room. The next cutscene will automatically take you back to Sumeru City, after which you need to visit the Grand Bazaar one more time and finish the final dialogue scene to complete Dehya's Story Quest.
