T’bolts boys 5th, girls 7th at Fairmont Invite

KETTERING — The Northmont boys track team placed 5th while the girls team placed 7th at the annual Fairmont Firebirds Invitational held Thursday and Friday.

Dorian Brew placed fifth in the 100 meter dash in 11.30 seconds and Jae Grigsby was sixth in 11.82 seconds.

In the girls 4×800 meter relay Northmont (Serra Drosdak, Jazlen Simpson, Libbi Mergler and Addby Drosdak) placed second in 10:16.94.

Northmont boys took third in the 4×800 in 8:19.15.

The Lady Bolts placed second in the 4×100 meter relay. Julianna Gunn, Iyann Thompson-Carson, Jaida Garrett and Raylin Turner posted a time of 51.44.

Daniel Ivory placed eighth in the 400 meter dash in 53.81 seconds.

In the girls 300 meter hurdles Kaley Underwood placed third in 48.46 and Paige Auxier sixth in 50.90 seconds. On the boys side Eli Pettis placed fifth in 42.88 seconds.

Dorian Brew placed sixth in the boys 200 meter dash in 23.15 seconds and Kalib Haynesworth placed eighth in 23.61.

Northmont placed second in the girls 4×200 meter relay with Zoey Evers, Raylin Turner, Iyanna Thompson-Carson and Kaley Underwood coming in at 1:47.54. The boys team placed fourth in 1:31.59.

Reed Diller placed fourth in the 1600 meter run 4:33.63.

Daron Porter placed second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:59.14.

Serra Drosdak placed third in the 3200 meter run in 11:51.40.

Lukas Rieben won the boys 3200 meter run in 9:58.84 with Jackson Morgret second in 10:13.08.

Northmont girls (Zoey Evers, Paige Auxier, Jazlen Simpson, Kaley Underwood) placed seventh in the 4×400 meter relay in 4:21.23. On the boys side Northmont placed fourth in 3:31.54.

In the girls shot put Marie Besingi placed eight at 31-feet, 0-inches.

Larry Lockwood placed fifth in the pole vault at 12-feet, 6-inches.

The Thunderbolts will host the Northmont Invitational today at 5 p.m.
