Dixie Southern adds plate roll for steel fabrication

Steel plate fabricator Dixie Southern has installed a DAVI model MAV3045 plate roll at its facility in Mulberry, Fla., for producing ASME pressure vessels, API shop-fabricated tanks, rolled and welded pipes, and stacks. The machine can handle plate thicknesses from 3 to more than 4 in., making it suitable for heavy-duty applications.

The company offers fabrication services including design and engineering, welding, heat treatment, nondestructive examination, and painting/coating/lining.
